CULTURAL SPECIFICATIONS IN NORWAY

• Norway has developed a standard within the building industry, were everybody in the industry knows what it means by referring to this standard.

• In addition, the Norwegian craftsmen used to be well acquainted with their works and worked independent based on the traditional way of doing the jobs, details etc. This might have been somewhat changed the last years, but still this is the character of the way things are done.

• This means that drawings are not made so precisely and with all details, the craftsmen knows anyway how to do it.
